Both studio and in-home newborn sessions are lifestyle-focused.

Think cuddles, connection, tiny details, family interaction, and natural candid moments — while still making sure we get individual portraits of baby too.

You will get a mix of:

What is the difference between studio and in-home?

Studio sessions give you the most variety. You have access to my full newborn setup, wraps, baskets, blankets, styling options, props, and available client closet pieces.

In-home sessions have the same relaxed, lifestyle feel, but we use your home as the setting. I bring two neutral wraps for you to choose from, and those are the only props I bring with me.

In-home sessions may use your nursery, bed, couch, crib, rocking chair, and natural light. MUST have lots of natural lighting.

Do you have a client closet?

Yes!

For studio newborn sessions, I have client closet options available for mom and younger siblings.

Availability and sizing may vary, so please ask ahead if you would like to use something from the closet.

What newborn session should I book?


Full Newborn Session

The full newborn session is best if you want the complete experience.

This can include:

• Baby individually

• Parents

• Siblings

• Full family

• Lifestyle/candid images

• Multiple setups and styling options in studio


Mini Newborn Session

The mini newborn option is baby-focused only.

This session is intended for individual newborn portraits and does not include the full family or sibling portion of a full newborn session.

What should I bring?

Bring diapers, wipes, feeding supplies, a pacifier if baby uses one, and any sentimental item you would like to ask about including.

For studio sessions, I provide the newborn styling pieces and props.

For in-home sessions, I bring two neutral wraps only.

What should we wear?

Keep clothing simple and neutral.

Cream, beige, white, tan, brown, soft gray, denim, and muted tones photograph beautifully.

Avoid large logos, neon colors, and very busy patterns.

Should I feed baby before the session?

A full baby is usually a happy baby.

Feed baby shortly before the session if possible, but do not stress about timing. We can stop for feeding, changing, soothing, or cuddles whenever baby needs it.

Does baby need to sleep?

No!

Some babies sleep through most of the session and some stay wide awake.

Newborn sessions are baby-led, and I will work with whatever your baby gives me.

How should I prepare my home?

You do not need to deep clean.

Simply clear clutter from the areas we are most likely to use and open curtains or blinds before I arrive so we can find the best natural light.

What if my baby cries or needs breaks?

Completely normal.

There is plenty of room for feeding, diaper changes, soothing, and cuddles throughout the session.

Your only job is to love on your baby. I’ll take care of the rest.

THE BASICS

• A signed agreement + booking payment are required to secure your session date

• Remaining balance is due by the date listed on your invoice

• Please arrive on time and ready for your session

• Newborn sessions are baby-led, so feeding, changing + cuddle breaks are always okay

• Final galleries are delivered within 1–3 weeks after your session

CANCELLATION + RESCHEDULING

• Please give as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule for any reason

• Illness, emergencies, and unexpected deliveries happen — just communicate with me

• Repeated rescheduling or no-shows may require a new booking payment

• Booking payments are non-refundable and secure your reserved session time

• If I need to reschedule due to illness, emergency, or another unexpected circumstance, we will choose a new date

• Outdoor sessions may also be rescheduled due to unsafe weather or conditions
